Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of how to move forward. Some are struggling with the emotional weight of being misunderstood or unseen. Others are working through grief, self-esteem challenges, or life transitions. I also work with older adults, caregivers, and individuals facing burnout, isolation, or identity shifts related to hearing loss or chronic conditions.

I specialize in working with Deaf, late-deafened, and hard of hearing individuals, as well as those living with invisible disabilities—both diagnosed and undiagnosed. I also work with family members who are supporting a loved one navigating these challenges.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Howard University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the District of Columbia. I have many years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most difficult transitions—including grief and loss, identity changes, parenting stress, and navigating chronic or invisible disabilities.
In addition to my clinical experience in child welfare and gerontology, I’m also trained in perinatal mental health. I work with clients through the challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting—especially when these experiences intersect with disability, identity shifts, or trauma.
My therapeutic approach draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I’ll tailor our work together to meet your unique needs, using strategies that are both practical and compassionate.
